Nose out of joint, nose back in joint

A phone call during my summer holidays last year put my nose out of joint. I wasn't a happy camper and in many respects this is what led me to stopping the blog for a while.

My nose is now definitely back in joint - quite literally; I am just back after an operation to reset my nose that was broken on a number of occasions during my football career. I have been feeling and looking like a film star ever since the operation - last week I looked like Shrek but this week I'm feeling like Tom Cruise, just a bit taller.

Professionally my nose is also back in joint. I've taken the difficult decision to leave Accenture after exactly 10 years here. I'll share more details over the coming days but in short I'm going to Wipro because they have offered me a rather attractive deal to be based from home in Biarritz in the South of France.
